Siate Felici is a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool for children aged 17 months to 5.5 years.
Our rich, developmentally appropriate play-based curriculum is inspired by the progressive educational tradition of Reggio Emilia. We believe that children are not empty vessels waiting to be filled with adult- given knowledge but are constructors of their own learning and experience. The teacher’s role in such an environment is to facilitate, guide, observe, support, and inspire children.
We are characterized by a deep engagement with the child at every level: the thoughtful design of space, the pacing and flow of the child’s day, the availability of high quality, mesmerizing materials, and, above all, the quality of a child’s relationships with self and others.
In a nurturing and play-based environment, our curriculum inspired from Reggio Emilia approach is focused to build children’s self-esteem, problem solving skills and maximize individual potential to ensure all kinds of learners are well equipped to meet the challenges of the 21st century learning and life. The teachers are empowered to work in an environment where they continuously expand their horizons and improve their skills to nurture & inspire students with a love for learning and the confidence to explore their world.
To develop early skills while inspiring curiosity, independence along with physical, social, emotional and creative growth in a safe, secure and stimulating learning atmosphere with an equal emphasis on curriculum, and physical activity, nurtured by love and care.
